Which types of networks are recommended for members?
Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs) to allow flexibility, choice, and access to the largest networks of providers; no referrals are required.
How does an agency member obtain insurance for its W-2 employees?
Through the specified company inquiry form. However, prior to being able to obtain assistance, the agency must confirm that each applicable employee is listed in ASTA’s member database.
May an agency member obtain assistance for its 1099s?
No; assistance is only available to its W2 employees. However, independent contractors can obtain assistance via our independent memberships.
Do I have to be a member to inquire and obtain additional details?
Yes; as noted above, this is a member-only benefit.
What additional types of health-related insurance products are available?
