I'm a travel advisor and the owner of Abby Away Travel. I'm a southern girl, beach lover, and nurse practitioner, who along the way, fell head over heels in love with travel. For me, travel was and still is about finding that ultimate escape. It is a way for me to decompress, reconnect, and simply explore this beautiful world around us. My enthusiasm for travel combined with my meticulous nature and attention to detail came in handy planning trip itineraries for my husband and me. As people started coming to me for travel advice, I soon realized how much I enjoyed planning travel for others. So, I decided to make my dream a reality and start my own travel agency. My true passion is discovering islands and more exclusive tropical destinations. I enjoy planning romantic getaways and curating luxury experiences. If it’s an activity involving the water, wildlife, or just some good eats and wine, I’m there! Over the years, I have been to many islands all over the Caribbean and beyond. I have done extensive destination training in the Caribbean, Hawaii, and also Disney. I’ve also done training on many boutique luxury hotels. I’m a Signature Travel Expert which gives me access to a whole private network of the best hotels, trip packages, and many other wonderful resources.
