Thank you for visiting my Travel Profile! My name is Alyssa J. Stevens, MA VTA. Long Island born and raised, I have been a Special Occasion & Group Travel Advisor for ten years though I have been traveling for more than 40, domestically and internationally. In all, I have visited two US Territories, three Continents, 42 Countries and 36 States plus our Nation's Capital! Athletic competitions during my adolescence allowed me to travel throughout the United States and study abroad as a young adult opened a world of international destinations during my undergraduate college experience. Prior to joining the Travel Industry in 2015, I found myself working for the unique Study Abroad and Global Studies degree program that impacted my life years previously; recruiting, advising, enrolling and even escorting students abroad for a decade. Our international campuses traversed the globe and included stops in Australia, China, India, Japan, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and more! My study abroad experience through this exact program allowed me to share my experiences and encourage others to have their own transformational adventures! I continue to do so to date as an Independent Travel Advisor with a focus on special occasion travel for individuals and groups of all ages, by air, land and sea! My credentials include an undergraduate degree in Communications - Public Relations (BFA), a graduate degree in English - Teaching of Writing (MA), Travel Advisor Studies through the Travel Leaders of Tomorrow Program (TLOT) and a Verified Travel Advisor (VTA) certification from the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA). My most recent accolades include the Gateway to Excellence Award 2024 for outstanding partnerships and the ASTA Travel Advisor of the Year Award 2020-2021.
