I started my travel business career back in 1974 as part time in our family owned company - Egyptian Express Travel - established by my late father in 1958. I spent my first few years working in different departments including airline ticketing, accounting, and finally got hooked up in the tour operations department. In the early 80’s I was honored to handle several key accounts including Unitours Inc., Club Universe, Ask Mr. Foster, Hemphill Harris, Archaeological Tours, Isram, as well as the National Geographic Society. In 1987 I became the VP of Egyptian Express and in 1992 my brother Ahmed decided to retire thus I became the company President since then. We joined the API Travel Network which has become Virtuoso a few years later, and have been privileged to render our services to thousands of clients from both the network members in the United States as well as Latin America. We also proudly joined the prestigious Signature Travel Network serving their members for years. In 2012 our company started its outbound department and we successfully operated small luxury group trips to Greece, Kenya, India, Russia, Jordan, the Holy Land, Japan, Vietnam, and Morocco.
