Hi, My name is Anja Phillips and I am the founder and owner of TropiQ Trips. We specialize in tailor-made tours to Latin America. I have 25+ years of experience in tourism including working as a Sales & Product Manager for an incoming travel agency in Panama, Central America! Living and working in Panama gave me a whole new insight and understanding of the life and cultures of the people in Latin America. During my time there, I traveled extensively to numerous countries in Central and South America, and worked closely with incoming travel agencies in each of them, creating the contact network that I now have. After meeting my South African-born husband in Panama – on the breathtakingly beautiful San Blas islands (Guna Yala) – I moved back to the US with him. We now live in Richmond, Virginia, with our 4-year-old twin boys. And I have turned my passion for Latin America into my first company and dream job: creating unique itineraries for my customers and working closely with my partners in the countries I have come to love.
