I’m Roger, the proud owner of Blue Escapes Travel. For over 14-years, I have been serving as a police officer in the Oklahoma City metro area, fulfilling my childhood dream. Alongside my career, I hold Associate’s Degrees in Police Science and Management, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Responder Administration. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my loyal and energetic German Shepherd, Anna, whom I adopted from a shelter. My leisure activities include going on cruises, exploring all-inclusive resorts, staying at lakeside cabins in Oklahoma, and floating down the Tahlequah River. As a football enthusiast, I also love attending Oklahoma State Cowboys games, representing my alma mater! I have been on 11 cruises and am captivated by the ever-changing experiences they offer. I love to explore different ports, trying diverse cuisines, and enjoying the stunning views that keep me coming back for more. Some of my favorite ports include St. Thomas and Mahogany Bay – Roatan, where I’m always on the lookout for thrilling water adventures. The idea of becoming a travel agent was sparked by family and friends who recognized my passion for both vacationing and planning trips for others. Intrigued by the idea, I began extensive research on the travel industry and agency ownership. The desire to turn my passion into a career led me to open Blue Escapes Travel in September of 2022. Since then, I have enjoyed every minute in assisting clients with their travel plans. From conducting thorough research to completing the booking, every step of the process brings joy. As a travel agent, I enjoy the challenge of researching destinations for clients, often finding myself adding those places to my growing bucket list.
