I'm a home-based travel advisor, with connection to numerous travel suppliers. I specialize in the areas of Faith-Based Travel, Train Vacations, Ancestry Travel and Cruises. I can find a tour group for you to join in on, or create a custom itinerary for your independent travel. I've put in a number of hours in rigorous study and testing through the Travel Institute to become a Certified Travel Advisor. I've also put in many hours completing training offered by my suppliers and destinations. I've traveled overseas and visited Europe a number of times on Catholic Pilgrimages. I've visited various Catholic Shrines in Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Poland, The Czech Republic and Austria. I also have visited many Catholic Shrines throughout the United States. My wife Peggy and I have developed a fondness for train travel. We've traveled on Amtrak's Sunset Limited a number of times between Texas and California. We've taken the Coast Starlight from Southern California to Seattle, where we caught the Empire Builder to Chicago. We recently rode the LakeShore Limited from Niagara to Albany, followed by the Ethan Allen Express from Albany to Rutland VT. I've been on the Skunk Train out of Fort Bragg CA, the Kentucky Dinner Train, the Austin Steam Train, Berkshire Scenic Railroad and the Mount Washington Cog Railroad. While in France, we rode a high speed train from Lourdes to Paris. We've cruised with Royal Caribbean to the Western Caribbean, and are booked on Norwegian Cruise Line in Hawaii and Princess Cruises to Alaska (which will include a train to Mount Denali). We'll be shifting our focus more to River Cruises soon, and hope to fit in an Ancestry River Cruise through Germany.
