I've traveled to over 40 countries, lived on three continents and in addition to English, I also speak Spanish, Portuguese and some Italian. In my early-thirties, I gave up a comfortable life and career in Miami, FL to embark on a year-long solo sojourn around the world that changed the course of my life. Today I'm the founder and president of Immersa Global (USA) and SMM Advisory (Portugal), two boutique firms that specialize in designing and executing very unique and exclusive travel experiences for very discerning clients. I'm honored to be considered a thought-leader in highly-curated travel as well as extended solo (female) travel. This expertise has given me the opportunity to speak regularly at travel and tourism conferences throughout the U.S. and Europe. Most recently, I was invited to design projects that use tourism as a vehicle to connect cities in the U.S. with cities in Portugal at the municipal level. My passion for curating unique travel experiences was first discovered in graduate school when my professors challenged me to design a two-week study abroad program in Costa Rica for other students. Since then, I've successfully curated high-end, themed-based small group travel to Spain, France, Portugal, Costa Rica, and Miami. For me, international travel has been a lifelong investment and my most valuable personal asset. It has empowered me to define global citizenship on my own terms as well as design a life of perpetual globetrotting that most would consider impossible. My favorite saying is: “be daring enough to dream big, and resilient enough to make it happen!” I look forward to sharing my magical world with you!
