A year ago I connected with Melissa to help me plan a trip to Maui for my family of nine. Since Melissa had lived there before it gave me confidence that she would know the best places for my family to stay and see. She gave me a few options for accommodations and excursions. We had the best family trip. Our resort was so beautiful and steps from the beach. We had VIP tickets to a great luau. Melissa knew the best excursions that would work for our family including teenagers and 8 and 10 year olds. Melissa checked in making sure we loved the resort and checked to see how our excursions were going. I highly recommend Melissa for your best vacation experience! After a disappointing experience with a big corporate travel agency, I found Melissa. The difference was night and day. If you are looking for a travel advisor who is friendly and fun to work with, tailors your trip, and takes almost all the stress out of planning, choose Melissa. My trip ended up being cancelled due to COVID-19, but Melissa offered good suggestions and made the process painless. If you want a first-class experience, then RLX-Travel is a great choice.

We felt compelled to write a review for RLX Travel Group, whom we have been working with for two years now. We did not like any of the travel agents in the small city where we live in the mid-west.
In the world we live today, it is a challenge to find businesses who are ethical, support veterans, and work with clients, regardless of their ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. We feel blessed that we found this wonderful agency who treat us like family. We are also fortunate that we share the same faith, which was a bonus.
Our recent trip, which was a cruise was disastrous since both of us became ill and were quarantined. Having a group of professionals in our corner made the balance of the cruise a little less stressful. They were consummate professionals in that they helped with ground transportation and hotel stays. They also reviewed Covid protocols to ensure we were aware of what we should do. They booked extra hotel stays, took care of private transportation to the hotel and the airport. We felt secure with them assisting us because we were already traumatized from our cruise travel which did not go well.
When we have a request, they are very thorough and explain everything. This agency makes sure you have everything you need to have an enjoyable trip. If things do not go well, they also follow up without making you feel like you are a burden.
They are extremely helpful when you are trying to decide where to travel to. They provide very detailed information for you to make a decision at all price points.
If you are looking for an agency that is detail oriented and goes above and beyond, then RLX Travel Group is for you. Look no further, you have now found additional family members. Give them a try, you will not regret it. We are thankful we now have additional family members.

I do not suffer mediocrity easily, fortunately with Ms. Melissa Fail of RXL Travel Group, I have not had to. I have never felt the need to question her wisdom, actions or efforts. Her honesty, integrity, professionalism – and depth of travel related knowledge – are at the core of her business. I hold her in highest regard and do not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
Today (17 Jun 2021) Ms. Fail assisted my family of 6 adults and 2 little boys (both under 12 years of age) obtain booking on an Alaskan Cruise with Princess Cruise line for July 2022. While this may not seem to be particularly impressive, it should be noted that this was actually the third booking for an Alaskan cruise in 18 months. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the first cruise was cancelled. Melissa immediately got us booked on another cruise for August 2021 without any change in cruise fare or flight ticket prices. Unfortunately, after final payment for the 3 cabins had been paid, Princess made the decision to not allow any unvaccinated children on the cruise. Because Melissa had linked the three sets of adults together as a family unit (an action I would never have thought of), she was able to rebook all of us on this third cruise. This cruise is on the date we wanted, in the kind of cabins needed and on the ship we desired – and again without any change in the cruise fare.
This will be my fourth cruise, the first three I did all the planning and booking, and they were for only 2 adults each. Without Ms. Fail’s never-ending guidance, support and effort we could not have made it through all this.

I found Melissa on an internet search for a travel agent. She is very professional and prompt. I love that her and her husband are veterans. I would highly recommend her to book you travel needs. Once you decide on a trip, she does the rest in a timely matter.

I only have GREAT things to say about Melissa. She helped me organize a cruise that included six couples for my husband_`s 40th birthday. She was very prompt in responding and very helpful and organized. She made the planning and the execution of twelve people traveling together go off without a hitch. I appreciated how well she communicated with me, the organizer, as well as with all the other members of our party. A lot of us were new to the cruise ship experience and she had it all dialed in for us. We all mentioned her several times on our vacation...raising our glasses in the air _`Cheers to Melissa!_` I would highly recommend her!

Melissa at RLX Travel Group was amazing to work with. My husband and I decided to use a travel agent to book and plan our honeymoon so we didn_`t have to worry about a thing. After doing some research on the best travel agents we stumbled upon Melissa. After our first phone call with Melissa we both knew that we had to use her. She was so personable and wanted to make sure she really booked a trip that highlighted everything we wanted to do and she did just that. She put a lot of time and thought into different locations that offered everything we wanted. She arranged different tours for us to take and aligned everything up so that all we had to do was show up. While on our honeymoon our original tour got cancelled the night before we were supposed to go and Melissa called us right away and worked very hard finding a different tour for us to go on. She really stepped above and beyond making sure we were still able to go somewhere rather than just saying that she was sorry we weren_`t able to go like other travel agents would have. It was a pleasure to work with Melissa and RLX Travel Group. We have referred her to our friends and will continue to use her in the future!

Melissa did an amazing job planning mine and my husband_`s honeymoon! They created a travel document pouch for us that made our first trip out of the country easy with no major bumps! Melissa Fail was absolutely wonderful to work with! She gave us multiple options of places to stay on our Yellowstone trip and even scheduled our tour within the park! She kept in constant contact with us and kept us up to date on all of the travel plans. I would most definitely refer everyone to her and we will DEFINITELY be using her services again!!!

After having our resort in Jamaica push back their re-opening date several times, Melissa always responded quickly and was so very helpful in explaining to us our options. After a very long 8 months of our vacation being pushed back and rescheduled, we finally decided to head back to where we went on our honeymoon in Mexico. Throughout all the craziness, I honestly wouldn’t have wanted to work with any other person other than Melissa. She was so AMAZING and accommodating. Definitely recommend if you’re in the market for a fabulous travel agent!!!! :)

Incredible service
Melissa has been communicating with me over several years, keeping me motivated for my ten year planned dream trip if hiking the Inca Trail. When it came time to book, she took the “must do’s” and made them a reality, was patient with my never-ending questions about international travel, and took care of everything! During my dream trip, she made sure everything was up to my expectations, and they sure were. It was the trip of a lifetime and better than I could have dreamed! Melissa helped a group of 12 of us plan our cruise with Royal Caribbean. She made our planning and preparations so easy and seamless. She helped with everything from excursion bookings, to arranging our rooms next to one another, our dinner times and paperwork processing. It was so nice to be able to just shoot over an email to her when we needed help, rather than go through the cruise line and wait on hold and then eventually speak to someone who knew nothing about our vacation.
I can’t speak highly enough about Melissa. She was amazing and we’ll definitely be using her again!

Melissa is fantastic! She does all of the leg work, sends me my travel packet with transfers and luggage tags. I just go on the trip knowing everything is. She answers my questions and if she doesn’t have the answers she finds them. I will continue to use her services.

Melissa is fantastic, she booked our 7 day cruise to Alaska in just less than 4 wks. We had a great time. She arranged our travel pickup from airport to port and back, arranged hotels for us the day before and after.. I highly suggest you use her for sure for all your future travel plans.

Melissa planned our delayed (thank you Covid) trip to Europe. My husband, who has not traveled internationally in 20+years, was somewhat apprehensive. Melissa was able to put him at ease, while coordinating for us the trip of a lifetime. We began in Paris with sightseeing and then moved on to Normandy, where our private tour guide facilitated an amazing 3 day tour for us. The World War II knowledge that was provided to us, along with thoughtful tours and experiences could not have been better. After a few days there we took the Eurostar to London and toured the city. Our last day was spent at Warner Brothers Studios, a must see for any Harry Potter fan! We are so glad that Melissa was able to provide this dream trip for us. Melissa planned our honeymoon and it was the best thing we did. We didn_`t know what to expect because this was our first time booking through an agent and traveling out of the country, however, Melissa delivered and more. Melissa provided everything we could have possibly needed for our family’s travel. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were prepared for the physical act of traveling as a large family down to the details of choosing a room on the cruise ship that was away from noise so we could actually sleep. Melissa was amazing! We had flights canceled and we got in contact with her and she was on top of it. Had us new flights and everything taken care of! She had us a private car to pick us up from the airport and take us to the resort in Punta Cana. Then private vehicle to pick us up and take us back to the airport! We won_`t use anyone else besides Melissa!

Melissa was GREAT. She set everything up so all we had to do was go have fun. We had a private guide all through Austria and Germany. He was very knowledgeable of all the sites we wanted to see. He made sure we were set for the next day. When he ended his part in Paris he made sure we were set up for the rest of our trip. When we had some issues in Paris Melissa even helped get some of our money refunded for services that she had set up that the tour group didn't follow through on. Melissa walked us through every step of getting prepared to go. She made travel tags for our luggage so we could easily identify our bags. I HIGHLY recommend RLX Travel Group to set up any of your travel needs. There is so much more I could say it's just to hard to put into words what a wonderful job Melissa did. We will definitely use her again when we go back to Germany. I give her 10 stars....

Melissa worked as our travel agent for a surprise anniversary trip. She handled all the details and was super personable when planning the trip as we talked through details. She made it all happen quickly and easily and then sent a clear binder with all our needed documents, highlighted and tagged for plane, hotel, ETC. My husband and I just got back from a fabulous 10 day trip through the Canadian Rockies via train on the Rocky Mountaineer and by motor coach. The whole trip was well organized thanks to our travel agent, Melissa Meredith Fail. She organized all of our transfers to and from the airports, hotels in each town and all the extra excursions in each area. Everything was taken care of. RLX is by far the best travel agency I have ever used. Melissa Fail was very professional, but also extremely knowledgable about everything I wanted to know. She made the entire process easy for me and had everything I needed in order. From the moment I started planning the trip until I returned home I was stress free. Thank You to RLX Travel Group for making my dreams of traveling out of the country for the first time come true. On April 14th my best friend and I left to go on a 7 day trip to Italy. Our trip started in Rome where we got to see the Vatican, Coliseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain etc... in 2days. On day 3 & 4 we went by First class on a Train to Florence we we got to learn more about Michelangelo and see The Statue of David and where he was buried. On our last two days we again traveled First Class on a train to Venice. OMG Venice is gorgeous!!! We got to experience high tide, see Murano Glass and experienced the Doges palace and of course ended our trip with a Gondola ride and a wonderful view of the famous red roof tops. I could go on and on about this amazing Trip but I would just suggest that you go and experience it yourself!!! I’ll post a few pictures after this!

We began working with Melissa at the end of 2019: due to Covid we chose not to take a trip until May of this year. Melissa worked with our budget so we could get the most for our money. She was able to book us a trip to Maui, Hawaii. We never thought we could afford to go to Hawaii but Melissa made it possible. Melissa also helped us get the necessary paperwork that Hawaii required of visitors at the time we traveled. Melissa was able to book us a 6 day, 5 night vacation at the Royal Lahaina Resort. The Royal Lahaina was and EXCELLENT choice for us. Melissa booked us a cottage on the ground floor which was 50 feet from one of their pools and the ocean was another 50 feet. We walked on the beach and played in the ocean every day. The Resort was first rate and offered several amenities! Their staff was friendly and very helpful as well.
My husband and I highly recommend Melissa as a Travel Agent. She worked hard to make our trip a HUGE success. She answered every question we had and was available to help us whenever we asked. We will definitely use Melissa again and have recommended her to our friends and family!

We have worked with Melissa to plan several vacations over the last few years. She is fantastic to work with and we could not be happier. She provides several options to choose from and then personalizes our vacation based on our specific needs and preferences. I love that she keeps a file for us to document what we liked or would have changed for the next vacation. Whenever we have a question or concern while on our vacation she is only an email or phone call away with a quick response (even when I needed help outside of business hours). I love that she sends a physical and electronic version of our itinerary along with a gift before each vacation. I have recommended her to family members. My mom told me she is as equally impressed with her as I am. I also have to mention she is an expert on Hawaiian vacations. She has planned two trips to Hawaii for us. And don’t worry if you aren’t in the same city or state as Melissa, I have been able to work with her from Missouri without any issues. GREAT Travel Agent
Where to start.... Melissa Fail handled us (mostly me) & all of our questions with respect & patience. This was our 1st cruise & 1st real travel vacation since our honeymoon 14 yrs ago. We wanted to bring in my 50th birthday the right way. We booked our cruise through RLX Travel Group a year in advance pretty much.. throughout the year, whenever we had a question or concern about what we needed to do packing wise, passports, ports, gratuities, anything & everything you can think of we would email Melissa (or text) and she would answer our questions and not get frustrated with us asking so many questions. (I think I would have gotten a lil frustrated with this over a years time, lol) but she was very friendly every time, was very excited to help us plan our 1st cruise & kept us excited throughout the planning process. She seriously did everything for us, all the planning. We told her our price range at the time and she went from there. Later in the year I decided I wanted to upgrade our room & she handled that with excitement as well & went above and beyond what we were expecting. There's so much more I could say but all that's really important is that she did all the work for us, did the bookings, printed off all of our documents & made sure that we received everything in plenty of time. You will not find anyone more knowledgeable when it comes to cruises especially!! We will definitely be cruising again & will only go through her. Within a week after contacting Melissa Fail, she had put together a quote for me and my husband for our cruise to Alaska that we thought was very reasonable compared to others we had looked at. We contacted her in May and she had us on the Star Princess cruise ship with a balcony the following August! She listened to our requests and expertly planned our trip - booking our cruise and flights, pre-arranging all of our ground transportation, booking our hotel, and taking care of purchasing travel insurance for us. She quickly answered all our emails even after the trip had been booked and paid for. Prior to leaving on our cruise, she sent us a package containing all of our travel documents (plane tickets, ship boarding passes, transportation tickets, hotel confirmation, cruise itinerary, etc.) and a few extra helpful things like maps, luggage tags, and a pouch to hold our travel documents. Our travel documents had her hand-written notes_tips as she took care to make sure we were informed of everything we needed to know. Our trip was smooth and wonderful thanks to Melissa’s special expert planning. She even had me to email copies of our passports to her ahead of time to make boarding the ship faster. That came in handy as I ended up using that emailed copy of my passport to purchase a fishing license on an excursion in Alaska. We recommend Melissa Fail and RLX Travel Group, LLC and will definitely contact Melissa in the future for our travel needs.

WOW - talk about personal support! Melissa Fail with RLX Travel Group did a fantastic job making our vacation stress free and essentially perfect! I have used travel agencies in the past for cruises & short trips with success, but Melissa went above and beyond with the personal support and attention to detail. She really wanted to know what we were looking for to make our very own perfect vacation. From picking the perfect flight times -to finding a magnificent bungalow on the beach -to working some magic with the resort for all those extras you don't get without asking.
