We are pleased to announce that ASTA’s Corporate agenty Council (CAC) recently welcomed five new members to their ranks. On behalf of the CAC Executive Committee (Jennifer Wilson-Buttigieg, Denise Jackson and Michael Dixon), we want to offer our heartfelt welcome to the following member companies:
Open to agencies with at least $50 million in annual travel sales and some allied supplier members, the Corporate agenty Council is a critical stakeholder group within ASTA, playing a major role in guiding ASTA’s advocacy efforts, acting as a sounding board on emerging policy and industry issues, helping to prioritize activities and in some cases providing financial support for distinct items through the CAC “war chest.” Recent advocacy investments include covering costs related to ASTA’s annual Legislative Day “fly-in,” funding the Society’s participation in the multi-state travel insurance reform campaign and supporting the ASTAPAC charitable match program. In addition to providing networking benefits through its biannual meetings, the CAC also acts as an intimate, high-level forum where suppliers can engage and dialogue with the heads of the largest agency entities in the U.S. on issues of mutual concern. For more information or if interested in joining the CAC, contact Eben Peck, ASTA’s Executive Vice President, Advocacy, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (703) 739-6842.
