Safe Harbors continues to thrive because Ellenby has always focused on helping customers manage their travel budgets as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible, regardless of fluctuations in the marketplace. He is a keen observer of the business travel industry, with a particular understanding of supplier’s needs and advancing technologies.
Ellenby first explored the world aboard the aircraft carrier USS America. He subsequently applied his technological skill and love of travel at Safe Harbors, which he joined in 1990. In addition to streamlining the firm’s online booking engines, mid-office systems, client reporting packages and mobile technology, Ellenby devised ways to offer enhanced online client account services, such as trend analysis and cost management tools.
Ellenby has a B.S in management and marketing from Widener University. He serves as a National Board member with the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), board member of Commonwealth Business Travel Group (CBTG), board member Harford County Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Advisory Board, Maryland State Wrestling Association and serves on multiple advisory boards.
A resident of Bel Air, Maryland, Ellenby enjoys coaching high school wrestling and spending time with his family.
