ASTA Elections Member Information

6/25/2021 - Please be aware that the election schedule was adjusted to accommodate for an oversight that occurred at ASTA Headquarters. The schedule has been modified below.

Which ASTA members can vote in the elections?

To be eligible to vote, members must be in a membership category with voting privileges and be in good standing with ASTA as of Friday, July 2nd at 5:00 pm EDT. Members with voting rights include:

  1. The official representatives of U.S. Travel Agency (“Core”) members, who will elect the Directors-at-Large.
  2. The official representatives and appointed voting managers of Premium Member agencies (including Premium Host Agency and Premium Consortium Members), who will also elect the Directors-at-Large.
  3. Small Business Network (SBN) members, who will elect the Small Business Network (SBN) Director.

In addition, Chapter Presidents whose chapter is located in a region with an open Regional Director seat will elect their Regional Director.    

When does voting take place?

For the 2021 elections, official ballots will be sent to all voting members on Tuesday, July 6th. The ballots will be sent via email using Alchmer (formely Survey Gizmo). Ballots must be completed by 5:00 pm EDT, Tuesday, July 20th

What if I did not receive a ballot?

If you did not receive the Survey Gizmo link via email on Tuesday, July 6th, please check your Spam folder first and then contact ASTA at elections@asta.org for further assistance. Please allow one business day for an ASTA representative to respond to your inquiry.

Please note that if your ASTA membership is not active and in good standing as of Friday, July 2nd at 5:00 pm EDT, you will not be eligible to vote in this year’s elections and will not receive a ballot.

Members with AOL email accounts and general emails (info@, sales@) may have difficulty receiving the ballots. Please contact elections@asta.org to update your email address so you can participate in the voting process.

When will the results be announced?

The results of the election will be announced on Wednesday, July 21st.
