Yesterday, we had the privilege of announcing that, in a vote of confidence for ASTA's work on behalf of the travel advisor community, Ensemble Travel Group signed its first-ever membership deal with ASTA. The agreement mandates ASTA membership for all Ensemble U.S. shareholder members, which translates into a total of 242 new ASTA member agencies, including five new Premium members. It also qualifies Ensemble for the 2019-2020 Consortia seat on the ASTA Board of Directors, with Brian Chapin, Ensemble's Senior Director Supplier Relations - Air, serving in the seat. Of the agreement, Ensemble CEO David Harris said "We are proud of our alignment with ASTA. The advocacy role they play on behalf of travel advisors in all areas of business from legislative, educational and member resources will benefit Ensemble members in many ways and will be vital to our continued success."
