When it rains, it pours! A few weeks after Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont proposed to expand the state's 6.35 percent sales tax to "travel arrangement and reservation services," we learned last week that both Utah (3.1 percent) and Nebraska (6 percent) are doing the same. Of the three, Utah is the most urgent, with legislative leaders trying to pass its tax reform bill before the legislature is scheduled to adjourn on March 14.
