Treasurer & Area Director, East Region

President, Hidden Treasure Tours

Steve has been hooked on travel ever since he visited Europe and then journeyed across Asia to Nepal after college. Three months of trekking in Nepal sealed the deal for a lifetime of personal adventure and a passion for creating trips of a lifetime for others. After 18 years in Nepal operating tours and expeditions, he moved back to the U.S. and started Hidden Treasure Tours on Long Island.

He joined and then became actively involved in the local ASTA chapter, where he eventually served as Chapter President for two terms, including a stint as CPC Chair. When the ASTA Board voted to "bring ASTA to the members," including re-establishing Area Directors, he was elected by the CPC as the East Region Area Director and CPC Chair. In addition to ASTA Treasurer, Steve is Treasurer of a nonprofit organization he set up with friends to support conservation efforts in Nepal.

He is married to a wonderful wife and is father to two amazing college-age kids!
