Royal Caribbean Pushes NACTA Members to Join ASTA, Sponsors Memberships

Program Officially Launches Next Week at the NACTA Annual Conference in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Alexandria, VA, October 27, 2016 – Royal Caribbean highlights the value of ASTA’s leadership by sponsoring $10,000 worth of ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents) membership dues for NACTA agents to become members of ASTA.

By sponsoring ASTA membership, Royal Caribbean will create an easy pathway for agents to receive the advocacy benefits of ASTA membership.

“We are grateful for Royal Caribbean’s commitment to supporting ASTA,” said Zane Kerby, President and CEO of ASTA. “Royal Caribbean understands that travel agents are their most important distribution channel and that being a member of ASTA matters. We truly appreciate that Royal Caribbean is charting the course for more travel agents to join our association.”

“Vacations are often our favorite memories, which is what makes the work of travel agents so valuable. Royal Caribbean is proud to subsidize NACTA agents’ membership into ASTA so they can enjoy the support and muscle of an incredible organization dedicated to their needs all day, every day,” said Vicki Freed, CTC, Senior Vice President, Sales, Trade Support & Service, Royal Caribbean. “With the pairing of resources from both ASTA and Royal Caribbean, our NACTA travel partners can make sure their clients come home with the best memories possible.”
