ASTA Statement on the Death of James D. Santini

"ASTA has learned of the passing of James D. Santini, former congressman from Nevada and government affairs representative for the National Tour Association. Jim was held in the highest esteem by those who knew him. ASTA enjoyed his wise counsel for many years as we collaborated on issues of common interest to travel agents and tour operators. His fierce determination was coupled with a disarming western charm. His insights into the political process benefited all who were fortunate to work with him. Jim will be greatly missed."
