“I think all travel advisors should take the ASTA VTA course. The legal information, marketing, and planning techniques have increased my confidence as a travel advisor in assisting my clients. Since becoming an ASTA VTA, I have received several consumer leads from Travelsense.org. I also promote my VTA certification on my website and social media pages.”
~ Nanci Cairns, Incanto Travel
ASTA's certification programs provide a higher level of verifiable professional knowledge to the advanced seller of travel. Completion of the program proves to all your proficiency and dedication.
“This certification has taken me to the next level of business. Since becoming an ASTA VTA, I have received emails from consumers looking for a trusted Travel Advisor to plan and customize their vacation.”

In case you missed the announcement at the ASTA Small Business Network Conference in Colorado, let us share the good news – last week, ASTA finalized an agreement to begin offering health insurance to its membership in 39 states through a so-called "association health plan" by the end of the year.
The creation of a plan of this kind has been a frequent request of ASTA members over the past several years, as it could allow individuals and small business owners to obtain coverage at group rates much more favorable than if purchased individually. Under the new ASTA program, coverage at favorable rates will initially be available to both individuals and small business owners, and their families, to members in 39 states.
