I have always been a Geography and Map Fanatic! I own a very large and well-utilized National Geographic Atlas, among other maps, and have recorded many notes and personal trips on those pages. I have traveled all over the world by plane, ships, trains, vehicles, and bicycles. One of my favorite trips was sailing across the Pacific Ocean from French Polynesia to Australia. Another of my favorite trips was cycling through the Hill Country from Chang Mai to Chang Rai in Northern Thailand. I have traveled all over the Mediterranean by ship and spent a month each traveling through Spain and Portugal (combined trip) and one month throughout Italy. I have spent two weeks traveling in England and have friends throughout that country. I have traveled throughout a number of regions in France, including two by bicycle which were the buccolic Loire Valley and challenging Provence. I love France!
