Crystal Becomes Only Luxury Cruise Line To Join ASTA as Platinum Partner

LOS ANGELES, June 21, 2017 – Crystal announced today its new Platinum Level Partnership with the American Society of Travel agents (ASTA), becoming the only luxury cruise line at the Platinum partnership level. The organization is the world’s largest association of travel professionals and travel agent advocates, with chapters operating globally in support of agents who specialize in selling tours, cruises, hotels, air travel and more. Since its inception more than 27 years ago, Crystal has remained committed to supporting travel professionals, and has built decades of success upon these cultivated relationships.

“We are honored to partner with ASTA in their global efforts to advocate for travel professionals as we all work toward the common goal of growing the global travel and exploration market,” says Crystal’s CEO and president, Edie Rodriguez.

Through this partnership, Crystal will participate in annual ASTA events, including its popular Global Convention, which brings together professionals from more than 100 countries. The affiliation with ASTA also enables travel professionals from agencies and companies of all sizes throughout the world to easily access information and materials from Crystal through ASTA’s extensive marketing initiatives and communications.

“We are proud to welcome Crystal as our newest Platinum level supplier partner,” said Zane Kerby, ASTA President & CEO. “This partnership is a win-win – it helps ensure our members have the tools they need to sell more Crystal Cruises while supporting ASTA’s mission to represent the travel agency community at all levels of government, within the travel industry and before the traveling public.”

By sea, river, land and air, Crystal has redefined the way the world views luxury travel. Crystal Cruises is the World’s Most Awarded Luxury Cruise Line, having earned “World’s Best Cruise Ship” in Condé Nast Traveler’s Reader Choice Awards for 23 years; been voted “World’s Best Large Ship Cruise Line” by Travel + Leisure readers for 20 years; and the “Best Luxury Cruise Line” by travel professional organization Virtuoso for three consecutive years (2014, 2015 & 2016).  The newest and upcoming extensions of the celebrated Crystal brand include Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises, Crystal Luxury Air, Crystal River Cruises – The World’s Most Luxurious River Cruise Line – Crystal AirCruises and Crystal Exclusive Class with Crystal Residences. Crystal is proud to be a platinum partner of the professionals of ASTA.
