The New United Airlines Credit Card Merchant Policy: A Threat to Your Business and Your Customers

Thank you for your interest in United Airlines' radical new credit card policy. ASTA believes that, by shifting the risks and the costs of credit card ticket purchases onto the travel agency community and the travelling public, this new policy will be harmful to the business community and consumers alike. The widespread adoption of this policy by United and other airlines would pose grave risks to corporate travel managers and their customers.

For more information on how to get involved, please contact Colin Tooze, ASTA's Vice President of Government Affairs, at ctooze@asta.org or (703) 739-6842 or Kevin Mitchell, Chairman of the Business Travel Coalition, at mitchell@businesstravelcoalition.com or (610) 341-1850.

Thank you.
