Yesterday, the Icelandic budget airline WOW Air ceased operations and has grounded multiple aircraft in Europe as well as in North America – Montreal, Toronto, Boston, New York and Baltimore – while advising passengers "to check available flights with other airlines." This announcement comes after multiple attempts to sell the carrier were unsuccessful.
