Last week, U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross announced the appointment of 27 members to the Travel and Tourism Advisory Board (TTAB), which serves as the advisory body to the Commerce Department on matters relating to the travel and tourism industry in the United States. ASTA continues to be well-represented on the committee with the following members included in the announcement: Olga Ramudo of Express Travel (also an ASTA board member; reappointment) and Kurt Ekert of Carlson Wagonlit Travel (reappointment; Vice Chair). ASTA Proud Partner supplier members are on the board, including Stephen Morrissey of United Airlines; Tricia Primrose of Marriott International and Brian Rothery of Enterprise Holdings.
