Alexandria, VA, October 31, 2016 – Carnival Cruise Line highlighting the value of the American Society of Travel Advisors’ (ASTA) role as the national trade association for the travel agency community, Carnival Cruise line is making it easier than ever for agents to join by sponsoring $10,000 in ASTA membership dues. By sponsoring ASTA memberships, Carnival will create an easy way for agents to receive the advocacy, consumer awareness, professional development and other benefits of ASTA membership.
“By creating new pathways for more travel agents to join ASTA, Carnival is supporting our industry at the highest level,” said Zane Kerby, President and CEO of ASTA. “When more travel agents join their national trade association, our voice becomes stronger, and we want to thank Carnival for their ongoing commitment to the travel agency community as well as all the work they do to help travel agents create memorable experiences for their clients.”

Today’s announcement builds on Carnival’s recent record of support for ASTA and the agency community. Earlier this year Carnival Corporation funded ASTA’s independent study, “Best of Both Worlds: Quantifying How Travel agents Save Consumers Time and Money”.
